SB231 is Wrong for Alabama
SB231

TAKE ACTION: Alabama Workers Are Under Attack

This bill prohibits any businesses receiving state funding from voluntarily recognizing a union, even if the union has demonstrated majority support amongst workers and the employer supports that decision. A similar bill just passed in the Georgia Legislature and now out-of-state special interest groups are pushing it in Alabama to attack our unions. This legislation violates federal labor law, hurts working families and undermines the rights of business owners in our state.

Take Action

Federal unions—and all unions—are under attack.

In March, the Trump administration took its most blatantly anti-worker, anti-union action yet: an executive order stripping the right to organize from hundreds of thousands of federal workers at more than 30 agencies.

Now representatives in Congress have introduced the bipartisan Protect America’s Workforce Act, which would overturn Trump’s executive order.

We are asking every single American who cares about the fundamental freedom of all workers to join a union to call their member of Congress right now.
