35th Annual AOLAF Awards Banquet

The AOLAF foundation was established to promote the cause of organized labor in Alabama and to honor members of labor who have distinguished themselves through unselfish service and leadership to the working people of Alabama. Tonight, we celebrate our thirty-fifth annual awards banquet with another outstanding class of inductees.
Our goal is to preserve the history of the labor movement in Alabama and memorialize its impact on our state. In partnership with the Alabama AFL-CIO, we have established a labor archive in Montgomery, Alabama. In addition, the Foundation board is exploring the possibility of creating a fellowship program in conjunction with public education.
